PFV at RafflesPrimum Familiae Vini recently held a series of events in Asia, hosted by Raffles in Singapore (Nov. 30 & Dec. 1 ) and hosted by the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower in Mumbai (Dec 3 & 4).
In Singapore, a black tie dinner
was held in the ballroom of Raffles for 180 clients of Crédit Suisse. The next day, a press lunch was followed by a trade and consumer tasting.

Very fine and rare wines were tasted at each dinner. However, the opportunity was also taken to raise money for a local charity in each country. A Primum Familiae Vini collection case, containing one bottle of each member’s flagship wine, was auctioned during the gala dinners as well as other items. Due to the very considerable generosity of participants in each country, significant funds were given to the chosen charities.

    In Singapore, 38
,944 US dollars was raised for the Primum Familiae Vini collection case alone. The funds were given to the Singapore School for the Visually handicapped and the Canossian School.

In Mumbai, the PFV case raised 27.877 US dollars. This was devided equally between Mother Teresa's Missionnaries of Charity in India and Saint Judes which assists families whose children suffer from cancer in Mumbai.
